SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Interstat) — Grace defeated Briar Cliff 95-73 on Saturday in a men’s NAIA basketball game, moving the Lancers to 2-1 and dropping the Chargers to 1-2. Grace shot 34 of 60 from the floor, 12 of 23 from three-point range and 15 of 19 from the free throw line while compiling 41 rebounds and four assists. Briar Cliff shot 25 of 54 from the floor, 10 of 25 from three-point range and 13 of 18 from the free throw line, finishing with 17 rebounds and five assists. Jaxson Wingert led Briar Cliff with 21 points, three rebounds and one assist. Mathok Mathok added 15 points, two rebounds and two assists. Ian Raasch paced Grace with 16 points, seven rebounds and one assist. Colby Collison contributed 19 points, one rebound and two assists for Briar Cliff. Grace’s Tyler Raasch had nine points, six rebounds, one assist and one block, while Hunter Walston added 10 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block.
