Arizona Christian Outlasts Georgetown in High-Scoring NAIA Contest
PHOENIX (Interstat) — Shaud Bradley scored 25 points to lead Arizona Christian to an 86-78 men’s basketball victory over Georgetown on Thursday night.
The Firestorm (26-7) used a decisive advantage at the free-throw line, making 30 attempts to Georgetown’s 10, to secure the win. The teams were nearly even from the field, but Arizona Christian’s 38-29 rebounding edge, including 12 offensive boards, provided crucial extra possessions.
Georgetown’s Isaiah Mason led all scorers with 22 points, and Darien Lewis added 11 points and nine assists for the Tigers (21-9). Arizona Christian also received 23 points from Ese Onakpoma and 14 points and seven rebounds from Jay Lee.
