WINONA LAKE, Ind. (Interstat) — The Grace Lancers showcased their offensive firepower and defensive presence Saturday, defeating the Southeastern Fire 91-75 in a men’s NAIA basketball game at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center. The game was effectively decided by a blistering first-quarter performance from the Lancers. Grace, the home team, erupted for 50 points in the opening period, establishing a commanding 18-point lead that Southeastern never seriously threatened. The Fire managed 32 points in the quarter, but the early deficit proved insurmountable against a disciplined Grace squad.
