MOBILE, Ala. (Interstat) — The William Carey Crusaders used a dominant first-half performance to secure a 94-72 victory over the Mobile Rams in a men’s NAIA basketball game Saturday. The Crusaders, improving to 23-3, built an insurmountable lead by halftime, outscoring the Rams 43-27 in the opening quarter and taking a 94-72 advantage into the break. The Rams, who fell to 13-13, could not overcome the early deficit despite a more competitive second quarter where they were outscored only 51-45.
