Bethel (Ind.) vs Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (Interstat) — The Huntington men’s basketball team opens its 2025-26 season at home Tuesday against in-state NAIA foe Bethel (Ind.).

The Foresters and Pilots will tip off at 7 p.m. EDT at Platt Arena, with both teams looking to start the year 1-0 after finishing their previous seasons with losses in March.

Huntington concluded its 2024-25 campaign with an 80-66 loss at home to Northwestern (Iowa) on March 15. Bethel’s last outing was a 83-78 overtime defeat at LSU Alexandria (La.) on March 21.

The game serves as the opener of a challenging early schedule for the Foresters, who will play at Ohio Christian the following night. The Pilots will not play their home opener until Nov. 4 against Holy Cross (Ind.).

This contest begins a slate of 10 non-conference games for Huntington before it opens Crossroads League play. Bethel also faces a series of tests ahead of its conference schedule.
