NEW ALBANY, Ind. (Interstat) — The IU Southeast Grenadiers used a dominant first-half offensive display to cruise past the Oakland City Mighty Oaks 82-62 in a men’s NAIA basketball game Saturday at the Activities Building. The Grenadiers, improving to 14-6 overall, seized control from the opening tip and never trailed, building a commanding 43-27 lead by the end of the first quarter. The offensive barrage continued in the second period as IU Southeast extended its advantage, taking an 82-62 lead into halftime and effectively deciding the contest before the intermission.
