Wiley (TX) vs Dillard (La.)

Preview: Wiley Wildcats at Dillard Bleu Devils

NEW ORLEANS (Interstat) — The Dillard Bleu Devils will look to continue their push toward a winning season when they host the struggling Wiley Wildcats in an NAIA men’s basketball matchup on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.

Dillard (8-7) enters on a two-game win streak following an 86-75 victory over Philander Smith on Thursday. The Bleu Devils have found consistency behind forward Miles Williams, who averaged 15.5 points and 6.8 rebounds over his last four contests. In the win over Philander Smith, Williams posted 16 points and eight rebounds.

Wiley (1-12) seeks to halt a six-game skid, most recently falling 80-74 at Southern University at New Orleans on Thursday. The Wildcats’ offense runs through guard Shamir Mosley, who is amid a prolific scoring stretch. Mosley dropped a season-high 28 points in the loss to SUNO and is averaging 20.5 points per game over his last five outings.

The Bleu Devils won the season’s first meeting 67-62 in Marshall, Texas, on Dec. 6. In that game, Dillard overcame a narrow halftime deficit to secure the road victory.

For Wiley, finding support for Mosley is critical. Shaquan Horsey (10 points, nine rebounds vs. SUNO) and Amoni Waring (18 points) provided secondary scoring last time out, but the Wildcats rank near the bottom of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in several defensive categories.

Dillard, meanwhile, has shown balance. Alongside Williams, Devin Lewis (15 points vs. Philander Smith) and Christopher Landers (14 points, six rebounds) have been key contributors during the current homestand.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. CST at Dent Hall. Dillard will host Xavier (Louisiana) on Monday in its next contest, while Wiley travels to Arkansas Baptist on Feb. 7.
