Williams Baptist Eagles Outscore UHSP in High-Octane Offensive Showcase

WALNUT RIDGE, Ark. (Interstat) — The Williams Baptist Eagles defeated UHSP 117-101 in a men’s NAIA basketball game Saturday fueled by relentless offense. The Eagles, led by Aseem Luckey’s 25 points and 18 rebounds, built a halftime lead behind a 62-point second quarter after a 55-point opening period. Jesse Washington added 20 points and Deion Wesson scored 24 for Williams Baptist, which improved to 5-2. UHSP, which fell to 1-14, kept pace early with 46 first-quarter points but could not sustain the scoring pace against the Eagles’ efficient attack. The teams will meet again Feb. 7 in St. Louis.
