SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Interstat) — The Morningside Mustangs defeated the Doane Tigers 85-73 in a men’s NAIA basketball game Saturday. The Mustangs used a potent second-half performance, outscoring the Tigers 50-41 after halftime to secure the victory at home. Caleb Dreckman led Morningside with 20 points and six rebounds, while Daniel Brocaille added 14 points. The win improved Morningside’s overall record to 8-4, while Doane fell to 4-6. The teams are scheduled to meet again in Nebraska on Jan. 24.
