INDIANAPOLIS (Interstat) — Kevin Overton scored 26 points to lead Auburn to a 92-86 overtime victory over Tulsa in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The Tigers led 48-31 at halftime, but the Golden Hurricane stormed back with a 47-point second half to force overtime at 78-78. Auburn dominated the extra period, outscoring Tulsa 14-8. Tahaad Pettiford added 24 points and eight assists for Auburn. David Green led Tulsa with 25 points.

Auburn improved to 22-16. Tulsa fell to 30-8. Attendance was 9,670.
