Arizona, now 34-2, used a strong second half to pull away after leading 33-24 at halftime. Utah State, which finished its season 29-7, could not close the gap despite scoring 42 points after intermission. A crowd of 11,501 saw the Wildcats maintain control throughout, overcoming the Aggies’ late push. Arizona was an 11.5-point pregame favorite.
