TULSA, Okla. (Interstat) — The Tulsa Golden Hurricane edged the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 89-84 in overtime Tuesday night at Donald Reynolds Center. Tulsa improved to 27-7 while Stephen F. Austin fell to 28-6.

Stephen F. Austin led 39-36 at halftime and 76-73 late in regulation before Tulsa forced overtime. The Golden Hurricane then dominated the extra period, outscoring the Lumberjacks 13-8 to secure the win before a crowd of 1,679. Tulsa overcame a 40-point second half from Stephen F. Austin with balanced scoring. The game’s total points surpassed the pregame over/under line.
