Saint Thomas (Minn.) at Seattle

Preview: Saint Thomas (Minn.) Tommies at Seattle Redhawks

SEATTLE (Interstat) — Two teams riding the momentum of strong seasons will meet Tuesday night when the Saint Thomas (Minn.) Tommies visit the Seattle Redhawks in a non-conference men’s NCAA Division I basketball game.

The Tommies (24-9) enter with the superior record, having won eight of their last 10 games. Their season, however, was punctuated by a heartbreaking 67-66 home loss to North Dakota on March 7 in their most recent outing. Seattle (20-13) looks to bounce back from a narrow road defeat of its own, falling 61-58 at Pacific on March 7.

The matchup features a compelling clash of backcourt talent. Saint Thomas is powered by guard Nolan Minessale, who has been on a scoring tear. He poured in 23 points in the loss to North Dakota, following a 22-point, 6-assist performance in a win over South Dakota State on March 5. Over his last five games, Minessale is averaging 18.4 points and 4.6 assists.

For the Redhawks, guard Jun Seok Yeo provides a versatile threat. He nearly posted a double-double in the loss to Pacific, finishing with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Yeo has shown scoring pop, including a 20-point effort in a close loss to Saint Mary’s on Feb. 18.

Saint Thomas has demonstrated a potent offense, scoring 80 or more points in six of its last eleven contests. Key contributors include Ben Oosterbaan, who added 16 points against North Dakota, and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu. Seattle counters with a balanced attack that saw Will Heimbrodt contribute 12 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks against Pacific, alongside Maleek Arington.

The game marks the final tune-up for both programs before postseason play begins. Tip-off is set for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Redhawk Center.
