PITTSBURGH (Interstat) — Saint Bonaventure erased a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat George Mason 63-57 in an Atlantic 10 Conference tournament men’s basketball game Thursday at 84 Lumber Arena. The sixth-seeded Patriots led 34-24 at halftime, but the 11th-seeded Bonnies surged with a 39-point second half while holding George Mason to 23 points after intermission.

Dasonte Bowen led Saint Bonaventure with 20 points. Frank Mitchell added 14 points for the Bonnies, who improved to 17-16. Jahari Long scored 17 points for George Mason, which finished its season at 23-9. Saint Bonaventure advanced despite being a pregame underdog. Attendance was 5,983.
