CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Interstat) — Florida State outgunned California 95-89 in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Wednesday at Spectrum Center. The Seminoles improved to 18-14, while the Golden Bears fell to 21-10.

Florida State led 46-32 at halftime and withstood a 57-point second-half surge from California. The total score of 184 points far exceeded the pregame over/under line of 153. The Seminoles, a 2.5-point favorite, avenged a two-point loss to California from Jan. 28. Both teams now head to the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament.
