BOISE, Idaho (Interstat) — Money Williams scored 32 points to lead Montana to a 75-72 victory over Portland State in a Big Sky Conference tournament game Tuesday at CenturyLink Arena. The Grizzlies built a 15-point halftime lead but survived a furious second-half comeback by the Vikings.

Montana led 39-24 at halftime and shot 11 for 25 from 3-point range. Portland State stormed back, outscoring Montana 48-36 in the second half, but its 4-for-28 shooting from beyond the arc proved costly. Jaylin Henderson led Portland State with 23 points. The Vikings missed a potential game-tying 3-pointer in the final seconds. Montana improved to 18-15, while Portland State fell to 20-11.
