LAS VEGAS (Interstat) — Gonzaga used a strong first half to build a cushion and held off Oregon State for a 65-56 men’s basketball win Monday at Orleans Arena.

The Bulldogs led 38-24 at halftime. The Beavers outscored Gonzaga 32-27 after the break but could not overcome the early deficit. Graham Ike led all scorers with 24 points for Gonzaga. Jorge Diaz Graham paced Oregon State with 15 points and four blocks.

Gonzaga improved to 29-3. Oregon State fell to 17-16. Attendance was 6,087.
