Mount Saint Mary`s vs. Siena
Saints, Mountaineers Set for Showdown in Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (Interstat) — The Siena Saints, riding a strong 20-11 season, will host the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers at Boardwalk Hall on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball matchup.
Siena enters with a significant record advantage and momentum from a 76-61 home victory over Rider on March 1. In that win, forward Francis Folefac delivered a dominant performance with 23 points, four assists and four blocks. Folefac has been a key two-way contributor for the Saints, averaging 12.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over his last five games.
Mount St. Mary’s (15-16) looks to build on its own impressive 69-47 road win at Fairfield on March 1. Guard Trey Deveaux led the way in that contest, scoring 19 points in just 20 minutes. Deveaux has been a consistent offensive spark for the Mountaineers, averaging 12.2 points per game over his last five outings, including a 17-point effort in a win at Iona on Feb. 7.
The Saints won the previous meeting this season, defeating the Mountaineers 67-50 on Jan. 11 in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
For Siena, support for Folefac comes from Brendan Coyle, who scored 20 points against Rider, and guard Justice Shoats, who added 14 points and five assists. Mount St. Mary’s will rely on secondary scoring from Arlandus Keyes, who had 15 points and four assists against Fairfield, and Luke McEldon, who contributes defensively with three blocks in that same game.
The neutral-site game at Boardwalk Hall presents a unique postseason-style test for both teams as the regular season concludes. Siena will aim to leverage its size and recent defensive form, while Mount St. Mary’s seeks an upset behind efficient scoring from Deveaux and a repeat of its recent stout defensive showing.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
