RADFORD, Va. (Interstat) — The High Point Panthers used a strong second half to defeat the Radford Highlanders 93-83 in a Big South Conference men’s basketball game Friday night at the D.N. Dedmon Center.

Trailing 48-42 at halftime, the Panthers outscored the Highlanders 51-35 after the break to secure the victory. The win improved High Point’s record to 18-4 overall, while Radford fell to 11-11. An announced crowd of 1,118 watched as the Panthers, who were 7.5-point favorites, covered the spread. The total points scored went over the projected over/under line. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in High Point on Feb. 7.
