BOONE, N.C. (Interstat) — Appalachian State looks to get back to .500 when it visits UNC Asheville in a nonconference men’s basketball game on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025.

The Mountaineers (4-4) are coming off a 75-67 road loss to Mercer on Wednesday. Kasen Jennings led the way in that defeat, scoring 16 points and dishing out four assists. Appalachian State’s season has been marked by inconsistency, with a 65-63 home win over Charlotte followed by an 88-53 loss to Elon.

The Bulldogs (2-4) are also seeking to rebound from a narrow home loss, falling 75-73 to Tennessee State on Tuesday. Kameron Taylor poured in 23 points for UNC Asheville in that contest, while Justin Wright added 20. The Bulldogs’ two wins this season came against Bryan and Lipscomb, both at home.

This in-state matchup will be the final game of November for both teams. Appalachian State begins a three-game homestand against Virginia-Lynchburg on Dec. 3, while UNC Asheville travels to face UNC Greensboro on Dec. 2.
