LAVAL, QC (Interstat) — Jalen Cox scored 17 points and dished seven assists to lead Colgate to a narrow 69-67 victory over Albany in a men’s nonconference basketball game Friday at Place Bell. The Raiders, who trailed by eight at halftime, outscored the Great Danes 41-31 in the second half to secure the win. Sam Wright added 16 points for Colgate. Albany’s Amir Lindsey led all scorers with 16 points in the losing effort. Colgate improved to 3-4 overall, while Albany fell to 2-5.
