PHILADELPHIA (Interstat) — Cruz Davis scored 22 points to lead Hofstra to a 63-58 win over La Salle in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday at Campus Center Gymnasium. The Pride led 34-30 at halftime and maintained a narrow advantage throughout the second half to secure the victory. Biggie Patterson added 13 points for Hofstra, which evened its record at 3-3. Jerome Brewer scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Explorers, who fell to 3-4 on the season.
