PALM DESERT, Calif. (Interstat) — The undefeated Colorado Buffaloes will put their perfect record on the line Friday when they face the surging Washington Huskies in a neutral-site men’s NCAA Division I basketball game as part of the 2025-26 MBB Acrisure Series.

Colorado (6-0) is coming off a 79-69 victory over San Francisco on Thursday. The Buffaloes have shown offensive firepower, scoring 95 or more points in three of their wins, but have also been tested, needing overtime to defeat Eastern Washington 102-97 on Nov. 8.

Washington (5-1) enters the contest with momentum after an 83-66 home win over Nevada on Thursday. The Huskies’ lone loss was a 78-69 defeat at Baylor on Nov. 9. They are led by the backcourt duo of Wesley Yates, who scored 25 points against Nevada, and Zoom Diallo, who added 19 points, six rebounds and five assists.

The game at Palm Desert offers a nonconference test for both teams before they dive deeper into their schedules. Colorado’s next game is Monday at home against California Baptist, while Washington will host UCLA on Dec. 3.
