PALM DESERT, Calif. (Interstat) — Don McHenry scored 27 points to lead Utah to a narrow 75-74 victory over Mississippi in a men’s college basketball game Wednesday at Acrisure Arena. The Utes built a 42-34 halftime lead but had to hold off a second-half rally from the Rebels. Utah’s sharp 10-for-19 shooting from 3-point range proved decisive, offsetting Mississippi’s 40-26 advantage in points in the paint. Malik Dia led the Rebels with 17 points. Utah improved to 6-2 overall, while Mississippi fell to 5-2.
