LAHAINA, Hawaii (Interstat) — Two teams coming off dramatically different results in the Maui Invitational will meet Wednesday when North Carolina State faces Texas.

The Wolfpack (5-1) enter the matchup on a high note after an 81-70 victory over Boise State on Tuesday. Ven-Allen Lubin led the way with a double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. NC State has won five of its first six games, with its only loss an 85-74 defeat against Seton Hall on Monday.

The Longhorns (4-2), meanwhile, are looking to rebound from a heartbreaking 87-86 loss to Arizona State on Monday. Dailyn Swain scored a team-high 24 points in the narrow defeat. Texas has split its last four games after opening the season with decisive wins over Lafayette and Fairleigh Dickinson.

This neutral-site contest at the Lahaina Civic Center pits NC State’s balanced attack, which saw three players score in double figures against Boise State, against a Texas team seeking more consistent play after its tough start to the tournament.

The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.
