LAHAINA, Hawaii (Interstat) — Two of the nation’s hottest teams will clash Wednesday when Southern California faces Arizona State in the 2025-26 Maui Invitational.

The undefeated Trojans (6-0) are coming off a nail-biting 83-81 victory over Seton Hall on Tuesday. Forward Ezra Ausar led the way with 25 points, while Chad Baker-Mazara added 18 points. Southern California has shown resilience, also winning a triple-overtime thriller against Troy and a tight road game at Boise State during its perfect start.

The Sun Devils (6-1) arrive with momentum after a 100-94 win over Washington State on Tuesday. Guard Maurice Odum was prolific, scoring 26 points and dishing five assists. Bryce Ford contributed 18 points in the victory. Arizona State’s only loss this season came against then-Gonzaga.

This early-season tournament matchup pits Southern California’s high-powered offense against an Arizona State team that has proven it can win close games, including an 87-86 road victory at Texas.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. HST tip-off at the Lahaina Civic Center.
