Temple vs. Princeton

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — Coming off lopsided road losses, the Temple Owls and Princeton Tigers will look to rebound when they meet in a neutral-site non-conference game Tuesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Temple (3-2) enters the contest after falling 91-76 at UC San Diego on Monday. Masiah Gilyard led the Owls with 16 points in the loss, while Jordan Mason added 13 points. The Owls had previously won two of their last three, including an 81-76 home victory over Hofstra.

Princeton (3-4) is also looking to bounce back after an 88-64 defeat at Bradley on Monday. Jack Stanton scored 16 points and Jackson Hicke added 15 for the Tigers, who have lost three of their last four games. Their victories this season have come against Northeastern, John Jay and Bucknell.

According to Interstat’s ELO system, Princeton holds a narrow 50.60 percent probability to win.

This is the first of a scheduled home-and-home series between the programs, with the Tigers scheduled to visit Temple in Philadelphia on Dec. 22.

After this game, Temple will travel to face Villanova on Dec. 1. Princeton’s next contest is at Saint Joseph’s on Nov. 30 in Trenton, New Jersey.
