Towson vs. Liberty

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Interstat) — The unbeaten Liberty Flames look to continue their strong start to the season when they face the Towson Tigers in a nonconference men’s basketball game Tuesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Liberty (5-0) is coming off a 79-73 road victory over Vermont on Monday. Brett Decker led the way with 23 points, while Zach Cleveland added 14 points and seven assists.

The Flames have won each of their games by double digits, except for the Vermont contest, and are averaging 91.2 points per game. Their early success has made them a significant favorite; Interstat’s ELO system projects Liberty with a 74.80% probability to win.

Towson (4-2) arrives with momentum after defeating Rhode Island 62-55 on Monday. Dylan Williamson scored a game-high 25 points in the victory. The Tigers have won three of their last four games, with their only loss in that stretch coming on the road against James Madison.

The game is part of a multi-team event at the complex. Towson’s next game is at home against Cornell on Dec. 3, while Liberty will host Coppin State on Dec. 6.
