Princeton vs. Saint Joseph`s
TRENTON, N.J. (Interstat) — The Princeton Tigers and Saint Joseph’s Hawks will look to build momentum when they meet in a non-conference men’s basketball game Sunday at Arm & Hammer Park.
Princeton (3-6) enters the contest looking to snap a three-game skid. The Tigers are coming off a 79-74 home loss to Vermont on Wednesday, despite a 22-point effort from CJ Happy. Jackson Hicke added 20 points and Malik Abdullahi contributed 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Saint Joseph’s (3-3) is returning from a dominant 100-61 victory over Immaculata on Tuesday. In that win, Jaden Smith and Jaiden Glover each scored 16 points, while Derek Simpson dished out eight assists.
The neutral-site game presents a key opportunity for both teams. The Tigers have struggled against a difficult early-season schedule, while the Hawks have yet to secure a win away from home this season, with all three of their victories coming on their own court.
The matchup will feature a contrast in styles, with Princeton aiming to control the tempo against a Saint Joseph’s team that showcased its offensive firepower in its last outing.
After this game, Princeton travels to face Monmouth on Wednesday. Saint Joseph’s next hosts Coppin State on Dec. 9.
