Incarnate Word vs. High Point

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Interstat) — The High Point Panthers, off to a strong 5-1 start, will look to continue their momentum when they face the Incarnate Word Cardinals in a non-conference men’s basketball game Saturday at the Ocean Center.

High Point is coming off a 90-80 road victory over Illinois-Chicago on Thursday. Cam’Ron Fletcher led the way with 27 points, while Rob Martin dished out eight assists. The Panthers’ offense has been potent, averaging 92.2 points per game, with their lone loss coming on the road against UAB.

The Incarnate Word Cardinals (3-2) arrive in Florida after a high-scoring 87-81 win at Southern Indiana, also on Thursday. Davion Bailey scored 25 points and Tahj Staveskie added 21 points and four assists in the victory. The Cardinals have shown a high-powered offense in their wins, but were handily defeated in their two road tests against power-conference opponents, Indiana and Colorado State.

This neutral-site contest will pit High Point’s explosive scoring against an Incarnate Word team that has found its rhythm offensively after those early setbacks. The Panthers have been dominant at home and on neutral floors this season, while the Cardinals will seek to prove their mettle away from San Antonio.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025.
