Nebraska vs. Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. (Interstat) — Two undefeated teams will clash Friday when the Nebraska Cornhuskers face the Kansas State Wildcats in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Both teams enter the contest with 5-0 records. The Cornhuskers are coming off an 84-72 road victory over New Mexico on Thursday. Jamarques Lawrence led Nebraska with 21 points, while Braden Frager added 20 and Rienk Mast scored 17. Their high-powered offense was also on display in a 105-99 win over Oklahoma on Nov. 15.

The Wildcats are also riding a wave of momentum after a dominant 98-77 home win over Mississippi State on Thursday. Guard PJ Haggerty was spectacular, pouring in 37 points and dishing out 8 assists. Nate Johnson contributed 14 points in the victory.

Despite Kansas State’s perfect start, the Interstat ELO system projects Nebraska as the favorite, giving the Cornhuskers a 58.80 percent probability to win.

The neutral-site game offers both teams a significant early-season test before conference play begins. Following this matchup, Nebraska will host Winthrop on Nov. 25, while Kansas State travels to face Indiana on the same date.
