PORTLAND, Ore. (Interstat) — Nolan Minessale hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to complete a second-half comeback, lifting Saint Thomas (Minn.) to a 73-72 win over Northern Colorado in a men’s Division I basketball game Friday at Chiles Center.

The Tommies, who trailed 36-29 at halftime, outscored the Bears 44-36 in the second half to secure the victory. Quinn Denker led Northern Colorado with 21 points and six assists, while Minessale finished with 20 points and five assists for Saint Thomas. The Tommies improved to 4-2, while the Bears fell to 3-1.
