Texas Southern at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Interstat) — The Texas A&M Aggies, fresh off a dominant season-opening win, will host the Texas Southern Tigers in a non-conference men’s basketball game on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.

The Aggies (1-0) rolled to a 98-68 victory over Northwestern State on Tuesday. Newcomers Rylan Griffen and Josh Holloway led a balanced attack, with each scoring 13 points and dishing out four assists. Federiko Federiko added eight points and eight rebounds.

Texas Southern (0-1) is looking to rebound from a difficult 98-43 road loss to Gonzaga on Monday. Duane Posey came off the bench to score a team-high eight points in the defeat.

The game at Reed Arena marks the start of a challenging early-season stretch for the Tigers, who will face a series of high-major opponents. For the Aggies, it is the second of a five-game homestand to open the season before a road test at Oklahoma State on Sunday.

Texas A&M will look to capitalize on its significant size and depth advantages against a Tigers squad that struggled to score in its first outing.
