Ohio State Outlasts IU Indy in High-Scoring Season Opener
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Interstat) — Christoph Tilly scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Ohio State to a 118-102 victory over IU Indy in a men’s NCAA Division I season opener on Monday night at Value City Arena. The Buckeyes, who led 66-50 at halftime, also got 26 points from Bruce Thornton and 22 from Devin Royal. Despite 22 points from Kameron Tinsley and 21 from Kyler D’Augustino for the Jaguars, Ohio State’s efficient 34-of-54 shooting from the floor and 42 made free throws proved too much to overcome in front of a crowd of 8,141.
