LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Interstat) — Louisville used a dominant first half to secure a 77-62 victory over Syracuse in Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball on Tuesday night at KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals built a 39-21 halftime lead and maintained control throughout the second half before a crowd of 15,306. The Orange improved their scoring after halftime but could not overcome the early deficit.

The win improved Louisville’s record to 21-9 this season. Syracuse fell to 14-15. Louisville is scheduled to visit Miami on Saturday, while Syracuse will host Pittsburgh.
