NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Interstat) — Lipscomb defeated Eastern Kentucky 75-61 in a men’s NCAA Division I basketball game Wednesday night at Allen Arena. The Bisons built a 43-31 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and never trailed. Charlie Williams led Lipscomb with 18 points. MJ Williams scored 14 points for the Colonels. Lipscomb shot 13 for 34 from 3-point range and capitalized on Eastern Kentucky mistakes, scoring 23 points off turnovers. Eastern Kentucky shot just 38.7% from the field. Lipscomb improved to 16-10 overall, while Eastern Kentucky fell to 9-17. An announced crowd of 1,186 attended the ASUN Conference matchup.
