FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Interstat) — Darius Acuff Jr. scored 31 points and Billy Richmond added 25 as Arkansas defeated Auburn 88-75 in a Southeastern Conference men’s basketball game Saturday at Bud Walton Arena.

The Razorbacks (19-6) used a dominant second half, outscoring the Tigers 50-43 after leading 38-32 at halftime. Arkansas controlled the interior, outscoring Auburn 52-34 in the paint and adding 17 fast-break points.

Tahaad Pettiford led Auburn (14-11) with 29 points and seven assists. KeShawn Murphy contributed 22 points for the Tigers, who have lost three straight. A crowd of 19,200 watched Arkansas avenge a loss to Auburn last month.
