PEORIA, Ill. (Interstat) — Jaquan Johnson scored 31 points and Bradley used a dominant overtime period to defeat Belmont 95-84 in a Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball game Monday night at Carver Arena.

The Braves outscored the Bruins 15-4 in the extra session after regulation ended tied at 80. Johnson added seven assists for Bradley. Alex Huibregtse scored 20 points, hitting six 3-pointers.

Drew Scharnowski led Belmont with 18 points. The Bruins, which entered as a slight favorite, shot just 10 of 33 from 3-point range and committed 16 turnovers. Bradley improved to 17-9, while Belmont fell to 22-4. Attendance was 5,727.
