Omaha at Florida International

OMAHA, Neb. (Interstat) — The Omaha Mavericks look to snap a two-game skid when they visit the Florida International Golden Panthers in a non-conference men’s basketball matchup on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.

Both teams enter the contest at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in Westchester, Florida, with identical 2-4 records.

Omaha is coming off a 99-73 road loss to LSU on Friday. Lance Waddles led the Mavericks with 19 points in that contest, while Khamani Cooper added 15 and Tony Osburn scored 13. Prior to the loss, Omaha had won two straight home games against Concordia and Southern Utah.

Florida International also seeks to rebound from a home loss, falling 80-72 to James Madison on Monday. Corey Stephenson poured in a game-high 25 points for the Golden Panthers in the defeat. FIU’s two wins this season have come in dominant fashion at home against overmatched opponents from Fort Lauderdale and Florida National.

The game pits two teams looking to build momentum before the heart of their conference schedules begin in the new year. Omaha will rely on its offensive trio of Waddles, Cooper and Osburn, while FIU will look for another high-scoring performance from Stephenson.
