Wyoming at Sam Houston
HUNTSVILLE, Texas (Interstat) — The undefeated Wyoming Cowboys will put their 4-0 record on the line Wednesday night when they visit the Sam Houston Bearkats at Johnson Coliseum.
Wyoming enters the contest riding a wave of offensive momentum, coming off a dominant 93-56 home victory over Portland on Saturday. In that win, guard Leland Walker scored 15 points and added seven rebounds and six assists, while Jared Harris provided a scoring spark with 16 points off the bench. The Cowboys have won each of their first four games by double digits, averaging 90.8 points per contest.
Sam Houston (1-2) looks to rebound after a hard-fought 85-79 road loss to Utah, also on Saturday. The Bearkats were led by Jacobe Coleman’s 17 points and Justin Begg’s 16-point, five-rebound effort in the defeat. Their lone victory this season was a 95-59 win over LeTourneau, while both losses have come on the road against Power Conference opponents.
The game marks the start of a challenging stretch for the Cowboys, who will face Texas Tech on the road in their next major test on Nov. 30. Sam Houston continues a difficult non-conference slate with a trip to Oklahoma State looming on Dec. 2.
Tip-off is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025.
