AUBURN, Ala. (Interstat) — The Auburn Tigers, fresh off a season-opening overtime victory, will host the Merrimack Warriors on Thursday night at Auburn Arena.

Auburn (1-0) narrowly defeated Bethune-Cookman 95-90 on Monday, needing an extra period to secure the win. Keyshawn Hall led the Tigers with 28 points and five rebounds, while KeShawn Murphy added 17 points and eight rebounds.

Merrimack (0-1) is looking for its first win after falling 75-66 at South Dakota State in its opener. Tye Dorset scored 19 points in the loss, and Ernest Shelton contributed 15 points.

The game presents a stark contrast in early-season momentum. Auburn will aim to leverage its home-court advantage and offensive firepower before a challenging non-conference slate that includes upcoming games against Houston, Oregon and Purdue.

Merrimack, embarking on a lengthy road trip, seeks an upset to build confidence before its next game at Tarleton State on Nov. 11.

Tipoff is set for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025.
