COLUMBIA, S.C. (Interstat) — The South Carolina Gamecocks will open their 2025-26 men’s basketball season against the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Colonial Life Arena.

Both teams enter the contest with 0-0 records, looking to start the new campaign on a positive note. The matchup marks the season opener for each program.

South Carolina last took the court in March, falling 72-68 on the road to Arkansas in its previous outing. The Gamecocks will look to carry any momentum from that competitive road loss into their home opener against an Aggies squad from the Coastal Athletic Association.

North Carolina A&T concluded its previous season with a 77-55 loss at Hofstra on March 7. The Aggies will face a significant challenge in their first game, traveling to face a Southeastern Conference opponent in a hostile road environment.

The contest kicks off a busy opening month for both teams. Following the opener, South Carolina will host Southern Mississippi on Nov. 9, while North Carolina A&T’s home opener is scheduled for Nov. 10 against South Carolina State.

Tuesday’s game will tip off at 7 p.m. EST at Colonial Life Arena.
