ROSEMONT, Ill. (Interstat) — DePaul overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Georgetown 56-50 in a Big East men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Allstate Arena.

The visiting Hoyas led 35-32 at halftime but managed only 15 points after the break. The Blue Demons’ second-half defense keyed the comeback before an announced crowd of 3,708. The victory improved DePaul’s record to 10-6, while Georgetown fell to 9-6. The teams will meet again in Washington on Jan. 28.
