South Florida vs. VCU
NASSAU, The Bahamas (Interstat) — Two teams looking to build momentum in a neutral-site contest will meet Wednesday when South Florida faces VCU at Imperial Arena.
Both the Bulls and Rams enter the non-conference matchup with identical 3-2 records. South Florida is coming off a high-scoring 103-95 road loss to Oklahoma State on Nov. 19. In that game, CJ Brown led the Bulls with 24 points and 10 assists, while Joseph Pinion and Wes Enis each added 20 points.
The Bulls have shown a potent offense, scoring over 100 points in two of their three victories, but are 0-2 on the road this season.
VCU last played on Nov. 22, securing a dominant 101-58 home win over Coppin State. Brandon Jennings paced the Rams with 11 points in that contest. Like South Florida, the Rams have been strong at home but are seeking their first win away from Richmond after an 0-2 start in true road games, including a loss to North Carolina State.
The game in Nassau serves as a final tune-up for both teams before returning to the U.S. South Florida will host Vanderbilt the following day, while VCU’s next game is at home against Samford on Dec. 5.
