HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (Interstat) — The Marshall Thundering Herd, off to a strong 5-1 start, will look to defend their home court when they host the Lipscomb Bisons on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at the Cam Henderson Center.

Marshall enters the nonconference matchup riding high after a 69-60 victory over Mercyhurst on Sunday. Jalen Speer led the way with 21 points and six assists. The Thundering Herd’s only blemish this season was a 104-78 road loss to Virginia.

The visiting Bisons (2-4) snapped a three-game skid with an 83-62 win over Western Carolina on Saturday. Grant Asman scored 22 points in the victory, while Ethan Duncan added 18. Lipscomb has struggled on the road, with all four of its losses coming in away games, including a 105-61 defeat at Vanderbilt to open the season.

The game pits Marshall’s momentum against a Lipscomb team searching for its first road win. The Bisons will need another high-scoring performance from Asman and Duncan to challenge the Thundering Herd in Huntington.
