Georgia vs. Xavier
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Interstat) — The unbeaten Georgia Bulldogs put their perfect record on the line Friday when they face the Xavier Musketeers in a non-conference men’s basketball clash at TD Arena.
Georgia (5-0) has been dominant in its early schedule, winning every game by double digits and averaging 99.4 points per contest. The Bulldogs are coming off an 87-57 rout of Florida A&M on Monday, where Jake Wilkins scored 14 points and Blue Cain posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Xavier (3-2) looks to build momentum after a 99-69 victory over Old Dominion on Tuesday. The Musketeers’ offense was powered by a trio of 20-point scorers in that win: All Wright, Roddie Anderson and Tre Carroll each hit the mark. However, Xavier has struggled against stronger competition, with losses to Iowa and Santa Clara.
The game presents a key test for both teams. For Georgia, it’s a chance to prove their hot start is legitimate against a major-conference opponent. For Xavier, it’s an opportunity to secure a resume-building win and get back to .500 against a high-scoring adversary.
Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.
