San Francisco at Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. (Interstat) — A West Coast Conference rematch with postseason implications is set for Saturday when the Pacific Tigers host the San Francisco Dons at the A.C. Spanos Center.

The Tigers (17-13 overall) enter the contest with a stronger record than the visiting Dons (15-15), making the game critical for both teams as they look to improve their positioning ahead of next month’s conference tournament. Pacific seeks to avenge an 87-82 road loss to San Francisco on Jan. 31 and protect its home court, where it has posted key wins this season.

San Francisco, however, arrives in Stockton struggling for consistency, having lost five of its last six games. That lone victory in the stretch was the five-point win over these same Tigers. The Dons are coming off a 94-73 home defeat to Santa Clara last Saturday, a game where defensive lapses were prevalent.

A key matchup will feature the teams’ standout guards. San Francisco’s Ryan Beasley is a dynamic but erratic scoring threat. He poured in 30 points in a loss to Loyola Marymount on Feb. 4 and 22 points against Santa Clara, but was held to just 3 and 4 points in losses to Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s, respectively. In the Jan. 31 win over Pacific, Beasley facilitated the offense with 11 assists.

For Pacific, Justin Rochelin provides steady backcourt production. He scored 14 points with 4 assists in the first meeting with USF and is coming off a 40-minute, 12-point effort in a narrow road loss to Gonzaga. His backcourt mate, Jaden Clayton, dished out 8 assists in that game and will be central to Pacific’s offensive flow.

The Tigers have also faced recent struggles, dropping three consecutive games to Gonzaga, Washington State and Saint Mary’s before their Feb. 11 win over Loyola Marymount. How each team responds from recent setbacks will likely decide the outcome.

Tip-off is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. With both teams hovering around .500, the result could prove pivotal for momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season.
