Southern Utah at Robert Morris

COROPOLIS, Pa. (Interstat) — The Robert Morris Colonials look to build on a strong home-court performance when they host the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in a non-conference men’s basketball game Friday, Nov. 28, 2025.

The Colonials (4-3) are coming off an 88-74 victory over Illinois-Chicago on Wednesday. Ryan Prather led the way with 25 points, while DeSean Goode added 17 points and seven rebounds. Albert Vargas dished out eight assists in the win. Robert Morris is 3-0 at home this season, with victories over Illinois-Chicago, Pitt.-Greensburg and Geneva by an average margin of 28.3 points.

Southern Utah (2-5) arrives after a dominant 103-68 win over Nobel on Saturday. The Thunderbirds had a balanced scoring attack, with Dylan Jones scoring 15 points, Elijah Duval adding 14 and Isaiah Cottrell contributing 13 points and four blocks. That win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Thunderbirds, who have struggled on the road, losing all four of their games away from home by an average of 30.5 points.

Friday’s contest at the Charles L. Sewall Center pits Robert Morris’s perfect home record against a Southern Utah team seeking its first road win. The game is the first of a two-game Pennsylvania trip for the Thunderbirds, who face Stetson in Carnot-Moon the following night. Robert Morris will host Stetson on Sunday.
