UTEP at Utah State
LOGAN, Utah (Interstat) — The Utah State Aggies, one of the nation’s early unbeaten teams, will put their perfect record on the line Saturday when they host the UTEP Miners at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Utah State (3-0) is coming off an 83-73 home victory over Weber State on Wednesday. Kolby King led the way with 15 points and eight rebounds, while Karson Templin scored a team-high 16 points and Garry Clark added 13 points and five rebounds. The Aggies also own a notable 80-77 road win over VCU.
UTEP (2-1) looks to rebound from its first loss of the season, a 71-58 defeat to Loyola Marymount on Tuesday. Jamal West scored 14 points in the loss, with Tyreese Watson and KJ Thomas each adding 11 points. The Miners opened the season with dominant wins over UT Permian Basin and Western N.M., but struggled offensively in their first test against a Division I opponent.
The game will be a test of momentum, pitting the surging Aggies against a Miner squad seeking to regain its early-season form. Utah State’s balanced scoring attack will challenge a UTEP defense that allowed Loyola Marymount to shoot 47% from the field.
Tipoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in Nibley.
