Citadel at West Georgia
CARROLLTON, Ga. (Interstat) — Two teams seeking momentum will meet Friday when The Citadel Bulldogs visit the West Georgia Wolves in a nonconference men’s basketball game at The Coliseum.
Both teams enter the contest with identical 1-2 records. The Citadel is coming off a 96-86 home loss to Charleston Southern on Monday, a game in which Christian Moore scored 21 points. The Bulldogs’ offense has been volatile, scoring 105 points in a season-opening win over Erskine but managing only 47 in a road loss to Boston College.
West Georgia also faced a power conference opponent in its last outing, falling 83-62 at UCLA on Monday. Shelton Williams-Dryden led the Wolves with 16 points and three assists in that contest. Like The Citadel, West Georgia’s results have been lopsided, with a 120-point offensive outburst against Huntingdon sandwiched between road losses to Nebraska and UCLA.
The game represents a chance for both programs to level their records before continuing challenging early-season schedules. The Citadel will host North Greenville on Nov. 19, while West Georgia travels to Tennessee Tech on Nov. 17.
Tipoff is set for Friday, Nov. 14, 2025.
